Why is sharing important?
Information spreads when people share it. One person reaches their network, ten people create a trend, a hundred people become a story. The algorithm rewards engagement. Every image you post, every article you share, every thread you amplify adds to collective awareness of ICE's corporate collaborators.
Where should I share?
Everywhere. Twitter/X threads for complex issues, Instagram for images and stories, Facebook for longer posts and groups, Reddit for relevant subreddits, TikTok for short videos. Download the materials from this page and post them across platforms. Add your own commentary — silent shares get less engagement.
What hashtags should I use?
Use 2-3 relevant hashtags per post on Twitter/X. Tag the company, journalists, and activist accounts. Post when your network is most active. Quote key passages from articles to make people want to read more. Tag original sources to give credit.
What about my privacy?
Consider whether your social profiles reveal personal information. You can create dedicated activist accounts if you prefer separation from your personal life. Most platforms strip metadata from images, but not all — be aware when sharing downloaded materials.
